I've Seen Every Future/I Know All My Fates, 8.5x11" Fine Art Print

“Earlier this year, I had a seizure that impacted my ability to see color. I woke up and things that I know to be one color were suddenly totally different. Flowers I walk past every day, art I have hanging in my home, clothes I’ve worn a million times-all completely different to my eyes now. Which is very surreal, especially when color is an important factor in how you afford to feed yourself. My psychiatrist suggested that I continue working like normal & try my best to use every color I can at all times, instead of just being sad about my cognitive decline & allowing it to end my art ‘career’ entirely. This is the first piece I’ve created and really, really loved since I lost my color. Do I know exactly what it looks like, with my lack of full color vision??? Absolutely not lol, but it still brings me joy. Hoping it can do the same for some of you.” -B.N. Blithe de Carona
